New to the Shop - Candy Tents

The Paper Pea Pod Shop just recently put a new (AWESOME) item on our shelves. Candy Tents! (Treat Toppers/Party Favors, whatever you want to call them.) Here's a little tutorial on how to "put them together" once you get your printable file.

First this is how your Candy Tent will look once you've printed it out and cut it out:

Then (I recommend) you score the sections of the candy tent that need to be folded, you can either use your bone folder or you can use your paper cutter (like my handy dandy Martha Stewart paper cutter) if you have a scoring blade.

Then with your bone folder make a very nice clean crease.

I used double sided tape to hold the candy bag in the candy tent, but you could use glue dots, regular tape whatever you want to hold the piece of candy down or whatever you're putting in the candy tent.

Then I double stick taped the top flap down

And Voila - there's a great Valentine's Day gift or these can even be used for party favors. (The Paper Pea Pod will be making Candy Tents as Party Favors soon.)

Here's a side view so you can see the treat inside the Candy Tent.

Here's a few of our designs in the shop right now:

We hope you like these new designs we have come up with at the Paper Pea Pod. We are having a ball making these, if there is ever anything you'd like to see before we have a chance to get to it feel free to comment on this blog or Convo us on Etsy.
